Introducing Publicis Worldwide Australia. An agency that’s continually guided brands through the many business transformations they’ve encountered, from GFC’s, to competitive threats, and now the Digital Age. First there was Mojo, a brilliant creative agency full of Aussie can-do spirit and the guts, intuition, charisma and the larrikin humour of its founders Mo and Jo.
Then there was Publicis, a sophisticated French agency that was equally individual, and entrepreneurial led by the brilliantly eccentric businessman, Marcel.
And now, as two become many, we’re taking the essence of this common culture to create a company that’s diverse in its offering, that challenges the status quo, evolves quickly with the times but is creative at its heart.
With a focus on being brilliant at both brand engagement as well as customer engagement, we have offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. We’re a wholly owned subsidiary of the Publicis Worldwide network, which has over 200 offices in 104 countries and is headquartered in Paris.

Our production business that specialises in everything from video content to print production. From brand storytelling in the digital space, to photography and retouching, to fast turnaround artwork.
Backed by our own creative capabilities, the video content area taps into freelance talent from the TV, digital and film industry. Housed in new state-of-the-art production studios in Sydney and Brisbane, it’s set up to produce anything from webisodes, documentaries, advertorials and product demonstrations.
We have a passion for social shifts and transforming technologies. A true understanding of mobile, social, data, content, campaigns and platforms. And the strategic insight to integrate them. We’re a full service digital agency providing strategy, creative ideation, user experience, cross platform design, development and management. Andrew is the CEO of Publicis Worldwide in Australia and also sits on the Publicis Worldwide global management board. He has worked with many of Australia’s largest companies and brands, including MYER, Wesfarmers, BMW, Australia Post, AAMI, Toyota, KFC, Nestle, Kimberly Clark, Qantas, Nintendo & Westpac, as well as the NSW, Victorian, Queensland and Federal Governments.
Andrew is a Director of a number of companies within Publicis Worldwide Australia, and sits on the Boards of the Melbourne Aces, the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation and the Communications Council. He is also the Chair of The Song Room.
National Executive Creative Director
For someone with over 20 years experience (FCB, Grey, DDB, Y&R, Clemenger BBDO and more) and over 150 awards (Cannes Lions, One Show, Clio, D&AD, AWARD, AdFest, Mobius, New York Fes… do we really need to keep going?), Grant sure is an easy-going guy.
Sense of humour and winning smile aside, his résumé also includes one of Australia’s most awarded ads ever, a spot on the ‘World’s Top 10 Art Directors’ list and having his work included in MoMA’s permanent collection.
More recently, Grant has spent his time with the Snowdome Foundation, which was started in honour of his daughter Chloe.
Chief Strategy Officer
Iona is one of those rare hybrids who can understand humanity and technology equally. After studying fine arts in London and philosophy at Oxford she spent 13 years strategically navigating the digital landscape at digital and integrated agencies TBWA, Nurun and Marcel.
Her interest in the ever-evolving relationship between people and technology – as well as her quest for creativity robust enough to withstand the changing media landscape – eventually led her to Publicis where she’s become an invaluable member of our increasingly digital team (until she transcends completely, that is).
Chief Financial Officer
Henri entered the world of communications as an internal auditor for Publicis in 2007 following a few years at PWC in Paris. After crunching numbers around the world and experiencing every type of agency environment there is, he soon rose to become Finance Director at Publicis Frankfurt.
An opportunity to migrate to Australia led Henri to start a family in Sydney and enjoy a successful run as CFO at Havas. Henri re-joined the Publicis family in 2015
National Managing Director
Tim has three decades (and three continents) of experience in marketing communications with major agencies. He arrived in Sydney in 1998 to run FCB, then (somewhat to his surprise), found himself CEO of soccer club Sydney FC for the inaugural season of the Hyundai A League. Following that surreal experience he was appointed Executive Director of Clemenger Group. This included a stint as MD of Group PR company Porter Novelli.
Tim joined Publicis in Jan 2014 as National MD, a role which enables him to exercise his natural tendency towards collaboration and his belief in the transforming power of brilliantly delivered ideas
James has literally spent his life in agencies. His father ran several, his uncle a partner in one, and his brother, cousin and wife all worked in the industry.
Over the past 18 years James’ passion for the business has grown & grown. While his roles have changed and the way we engage with consumers has too, his desire to create brilliant ideas and results for his clients hasn’t.
He even ran his own agency once and was recently the Managing Director of a large multi-national agency. With work across Asia Pacific on a diverse range of client categories from banks to chocolate bars, cars to cosmetics and video gaming to sneakers to mention but a few.
Rob took to advertising like fish in water from day one. And not just because his first job involved managing a five star resorts account.
With his hunger for understanding consumers, his handy knowledge of ‘the four P’s of marketing’ and his passion for results, Rob quickly made his way up the Mojo ladder, becoming the first Queenslander to score an EFFIE for his work on Instant Scratch-Its.
Having recently won the tender to operate Queensland’s Personalised Number Plates business, Rob continues to be an advertising game changer, keeping our Brisbane office at the very top of its game.
James started his career in Sydney at Coopers and Lybrand where he completed his ACA in 1983. After 4 years audit experience he became the Finance Manager at one of his advertising audit clients SSCB: Lintas. James moved to Brisbane in 1986 to become Finance Manager for Leo Burnett Advertising and in that role managed the finance function of the full service agency as well as the finance requirements of the Qld Government Master Media Account.
James has been Finance Manager at Mojo Brisbane since 2000 and combines that role with finance responsibilities for the Brisbane based clients of ZenithOptimedia.
Kim is just one of those people who knows a whole lot about a whole lot of things. And no wonder, given her vast experience across everything from telco to auto; from financial services to not-for-profit.
Lucky for the rest of us, she happily shares her knowledge, mentoring young marketers through Emerging Marketers Victoria Mentoring Program and tutoring the ADMA Direct and Digital Certificate course.
On top of that, Kim is also a founding partner of CUBED Communications, now Publicis CUBED.
During his 20+ years in brand advertising, Mike’s been awarded ADMA (Association of Data Driven Marketing and Advertising) ‘Marketer of the Year’; he’s been Head of Direct & Digital Marketing at M&C Saatchi, (incidentally when they won Agency of the Year) and, typical high achiever, he was also the youngest board member at Ogilvy London and currently a board member at JDRF.
On top of that, Mike is also a founding partner of CUBED Communications, now Publicis CUBED.
Richard is unusual. For starters, his role at Publicis is nowhere near typical, being leader of Publicis Loyalty – an operations and tech organisation dealing directly with customers, instead of comms and clients.
And that’s not even mentioning his 30-something years of similar experience across Europe, Asia, US and New Zealand – working for Citibank, Ansett/Air New Zealand, ANZ Bank.
To top it off, he practices Tzedakah Judaism, and has been invited to the Services Leaders Advisory Group to Greg Combet, Minister of Industry and Innovation.
Oh, and he writes novels and screenplays.
Finance & Commercial Manager
Jenn joined the Mojo family in 2012 with 12 years of experience in the advertising & marketing industry
under her belt. With a strong technical base having spent 7 years at KMPG, she’s now focused on driving commercial improvements within the business.A Canadian by birth (and accent) but a true Sydneysider by heart. Laterally minded, Jenn brings a passion for adding value to our clients and does it with her enormous sense of humour to match.
As we look to grow, Jenn has been integral to future proofing ourselves and has been a key person in integrating recent acquisitions into the Publics Worldwide Australia family. Never one to shy away from the forefront of fashion, Jenn will always bring a smile to your face, even when telling you how you can improve your business.
Lindsay began his advertising career over 40 years ago as an Executive Trainee with Myer in their in-house advertising division. Traffic and production roles followed with McCanns and USP Needham. Next was a dual account service and production position with Murray Evans working on accounts such as Stubbies Clothing, Toyota Dealers and Jones Lang Wootton.
In 1984 Lindsay joined MDA as Production Manager worked through 29 years of mergers and acquisitions in the company that is today Publicis Mojo. During this time Lindsay often worked in the dual roles of Account Director and Production Manager on clients such as Qantas Australian Resorts, Mathers, Indy Grand Prix and most recently on retail clients Betta Electrical and Action Supermarkets.
Along the way he has been responsible for the ongoing development and management of the internal production resources and work flow systems that operate back of house. His unique skills and experience allows him to ensure both client and agency expectations are met and often exceeded.
Gabby has been heading up ZenithOptimedia in Brisbane for 2 years now and prior to that was part of the team in an Account Director role. The ZO team is more than just a group of work colleagues. They are a family that all share the same passion and enthusiasm for the industry we play in and the clients we strive to provide innovative and creative communication channel strategies for and it is for this is the reason Gabby couldn’t imagine working anywhere else!
Before joining ZO Gab spent several years in Sydney working on some of Australia’s largest national advertisers, learning that media planning and buying was more than just spots and dots on a spreadsheet, but an integral part of the advertising mix. There is no point having amazing creative if the right people don’t see it at the right time. In today’s fragmented media landscape finding the right people at the right time is an exciting challenge that presents endless opportunities for the Agency’s clients.
Head of Digital Production
If there is a new killer app to be played with, hardware to be cracked, a platform to explore or a motorbike desert race to be raced, you can count on Matt being among the first ones to get on it.
Ten years ago, his lust for new experiences brought him out of software development and product management and into advertising, where he’s worked for George Pattersson Melbourne and Y&R Group, with clients such as Cadbury, Australian Defense Force, Fosters, ANZ and much more.
His passion for combining tech with creativity eventually landed him the role of Head of Digital Production at Mojo in 2012.
From making Maxibon chew toys for men, to writing the much-loved ‘Toyota Legendary Moments’ ads for 8 years, Michelle certainly has a long history of solving business problems with creativity and passion.
About halfway through her award-winning, 17 year-long career, we were thrilled to welcome her to Mojo, where she’s worked on clients like Peters, Nike, Australia Post and Tourism Victoria, climbing the ladder from copywriter to Creative Director.
With a knack for clever, outrageous and insightful ideas, Michelle keeps creating campaigns that are loved by clients and consumers alike.
Andy the Drum Major (a guy shouting orders at the front of a marching band) started his road to CD 26 years ago in London. Bored with storyboarding other people’s ideas, he started drawing his own, and was soon promoted to Art Director.
Ten years and countless clients later (Land Rover, UNICEF, Heinz to name a few), Andy came to Sydney for a shoot. It was love at first sight, and he soon moved Down Under to work for Clemenger BBDO and DDB (McDonald’s, Volkswagen and Wrigley’s).
As CD for Mojo Brisbane, he’s created award-winning work for AirAsia, Sanofi, Tourism Queensland and more.
Ian is an advertising nerd. From obsessively memorising candy ad jingles as a kid (happy days for his parents no doubt), to enjoying a long, successful and somewhat unusual career (Ian holds the record for most complained-about TVC in the UK), he’s clearly found his calling.
With 16 years experience, many top agency positions and countless award-winning campaigns for Sony, Vodafone, Guinness, Bacardi, British Airways and others, Ian joined Mojo in 2009.
Since starting, he’s produced highly successful campaigns for Coke, Boag’s Draught, Qantas, Virgin Mobile, Toyota 86 and many more.
Bruce is a busy man. Creative consultant to the Collingwood Football club for over 10 years, a driving force behind the launch of the Melbourne Stars T20 cricket team and regular contributor on sports marketing issues.
And that’s not even mentioning his impressive track record as Creative Director at some of Melbourne’s largest agencies, where he’s worked across (and scored plenty of awards for) clients like ANZ, AXA, Google, Herald & Weekly Times, Masterfoods, RACV, Jeep, BP, Boystown, Fairfax Media, Federation University Australia, Hummer, Saab, Spirit of Tasmania, Tabcorp, Origin Energy and TRUenergy. Phew.
Does your brand have a purpose beyond profit? Good, then Justin approves. His philosophy is simple: if you’re just in it for the money, you won’t get far. And with 15 years experience on both client and agency side, several groundbreaking strategies and a proven track record of driving business growth, we can’t help but agree with him.
Justin joined our planning team after working for Virgin, BigPond and Telstra; and later Banjo, Clemenger, McCann and Core. He’s an innovative yet commercially sound thinker, who’s forever fascinated by why we’re all so complicated, and yet so simple.
Don’t be surprised if you catch Simone staring at you. After all, along with language and art, she considers people-watching one of her obsessions. Luckily, this makes her perfect for advertising.
After starting out at Suncorp in 1993, Simone went to NZ to work across several FMCG, Finance and Govt. clients.
Never one to sit still for long, Simone then travelled the US, and later joined Mojo as Account Director of Tourism Queensland, Golden Casket, Bank of Queensland and more.
A few years of Marketing Managing at Suncorp later, Simone returned to us at Mojo as Planning Director.
